Harlem Bespoke: Island Salad on Lenox at the corner of 131st shuttered a few years ago and a
wine bar was supposed to open up in the Central Harlem commercial space. So what happened? We stopped by Pompette located just around the corner and the owner of the wine shop mentioned that a couple of years of delays have finally been clearing up. Pompette is the best boutique wine shop in the neighborhood and many have been waiting for the sister business to debut but apparently September 2019 is the new estimated date for the opening.
