Harlem Bespoke: Harlem's 2nd round of major construction in the past 15 year continues with
The Victoria reaching new heights on Harlem's main commercial corridor. The hotel and residential development that topped off in spring over the historic theater located just east of 8th Avenue has had steadily been adding glass to the front facade since December. As the above photo taken yesterday shows, everything is almost complete out front but a Summer 2019 completion date is probably a bit far reaching at based on the current status.
As previously mentioned, there will be 26 levels when the new construction has finished and the front end of the building will be a hotel with 210 hotel rooms. The back tower will consist of 229 rental apartments and portion of those have been set aside as affordable units. More on The Victoria can be found in our past post:
