INTRODUCING: NBHD COFFEE SHOP BY STRIVERS ROW
Harlem Bespoke: Construction started up at a former bodega on 8th Avenue at 140th Street this summer and now it appears that the facade has finished up. We walked by this block just north of Strivers Row this weekend and saw that the storefront for NBHD is pretty much complete. Warm wood, industrial overhead lamps and a verdigris patina adds a lot of character to the shop that used to be pretty basic as far as appearances go. The moniker NBHD apparently is just short form for neighborhood if anyone is wondering. There should be an opening soon and this section of Frederick Douglass Boulevard could get a much needed cafe by the end of September. Read more about NBHD in our past post and see what the storefront previously looked lik: LINK
