REMEMBER: FRANCO THE GREAT MURAL VANDALIZED

Harlem Bespoke:  It appears that some younger graffiti artist might not know their local cultural history since we saw that one of the works of Franco The Great has been recently vandalized.  Those who have lived in the neighborhood for a long time understand the cultural value of the mural artist that decorated the roll-down gates of storefronts on 125th Street with images of black pride. These master pieces of local art have been off limits for decades as far as tagging goes and now somebody had to ruin it.  More on Franco the Great can be found in our past post: LINK
