SHOP: PLYWOOD AT SHAKE SHACK ON 125TH STREET
Harlem Bespoke: We walked by Shake Shack on 125th Street this weekend and noticed that the windows had been boarded up. It only appears that the major chains have been doing putting up the protective barriers since most of the smaller mom and pop businesses in the neighborhood have not taken this measure. Everything is still open for takeout or delivery but the plywood provides a jarring image during the current times. With that said, Harlem has had extremely peaceful protest over the past week and this cautionary move was not really needed. More on Shake Shack 125th Street can be found in our past post: LINK
