ART: PUBLIC SCULPTURE ON ST. NICHOLAS
Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that there is a new sculpture on St. Nicholas Avenue by 116th Street that quietly went up recently. The metal screen in a triangular configuration has geometric shapes cut out and also a rust-colored surface treatment in some areas. No signage accompanied the piece so the finer details are still a little unclear about this public installation. With that said, Harlem has been supportive of this sort of artwork in the past but the installations are usually not permanent: LINK
