EAT: SOUP SHOP AT REVERENCE ON FDB

Harlem Bespoke: Looking for the best artisan soup in Harlem?  Search no further than Reverence's new soup shop takeout that is open from Wednesdays-Saturdays from 12:30PM-5:00PM at the corner of 138th and Frederick Douglass. The offerings here will change your mind about soup being basic! We recently got a small serving of the super rich, chilled white carrot ginger soup when the weather was hot out last week and the thick potage was really just spectacular.  There was so much robust flavor which was unexpected from a seemingly simple stew and the sprinkle of micro greens on top added a burst of beauty along with a refreshing, peppery zing.

We also like the packaging which is eco-friendly and the spoon was even made out of bio-degradable wood.  Reverence is actually now known for their takeout since the weekly  bento boxes are all individually wrapped in a crafted fashion.  The menu from celebrity chef Russell Jackson changes daily so the best way to order is to go online and see what is available.  A pickup time is then selected and then just show up for the takeout order later on in the weekend: LINK
