CONSTRUCTION: ACTIVITY AT FORMER BIERSTRASSE
Harlem Bespoke: Bierstrasse on 12th Avenue has been closed for well over a year now but some activity on the site this week might portend of something arriving soon at the local beer garden. We walked pass the address at the corner of West 133rd Street today and noticed that all of the old plants had been removed from the sidewalk planters and workers were inside fixing things up.
As can be viewed from the above photos, the broken glass panels at the entrance doors have been replaced at this point in time and a new coat of paint has renewed all of the formerly rusty metalwork. Blue paint tape can be seen at the windows of the main building entrance and things are starting to look brand new again. Since outdoor dining is a premium these days, it would only make sense that this restaurant would be revived in one way or another especially since all of the finishings are in pretty good condition inside.
