Harlem Bespoke: The old stable building used as a parking garage at 161 West 132nd Street apparently is up for sale. We walked by this block between Lenox and 7th Avenue recently and noticed that a sign stating as much has been posted out front. Some might remember that the block association a couple of years ago
fought to include the historic site in the the new Central Harlem landmark district and apparently all is in order now. DOB permits online currently indicated that the building is a a landmark so any developer coming in will have to keep the exterior intact.
