Harlem Bespoke: One of the most photogenic sandwiches to be found uptown has to be the Chicken & Waffle sandwich from Harlem Burger Co. on the corner of 118th and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. The delicious take on the uptown classic is one of the newer items on the menu and is all made from scratch so prepare to wait maybe 15 minutes for it to be ready when ordering. Homemade waffles start things off in the right direction and are noticeably a hefty handful when paired with a chicken breast of equal size. Everything is super crispy as can be seen from the photos above and the meat is also nicely seasoned inside. There is also a side of maple syrup for those who want to drizzle some within the sandwich and this definitely took things to the next level.
