BESPOKE: CUSTOM BROWNSTONE BAS-RELIEF
Harlem Bespoke: One of the cool brownstones in the neighborhood is this restored beauty with a custom bas-relief mask set out front. Harlem townhouse were built around the the end of the Victorian Era in the city and thus are mostly Euro-centric in detailing but this more ethnically inspired sculpture fits right in. Inclusive diversity in art is definitely something we need more of these days and seeing a homeowner take the initiative is kind of amazing in our opinion. The Dunbar apartments further up north are also a rare example of representation on building ornamental details that set a shining example: LINK
