Harlem Bespoke: Beloved Hoghead Tavern closed back in February as another restaurant casualty of the pandemic but now it appears something new is coming along. We walked by the location on Hamilton Place by 142nd Street in the past week and saw that things were currently under construction. All the glass paneled windows are now covered with brown paper and workers can be heard inside making things happen at the Hamilton Heights address. Retail rents are having basement bargain deals these days so these shuttered spaces become opportunities for a new business to come along in the neighborhood. More on Hogshead can be found in our past post: LINK
