As previously mentioned, there are garages out back that are big attraction on the historic Central Harlem block and the commercial corridors on the avenues have really started to pick up in the past few years. New York Time's favorite local restaurant is also around the corner and a celebrity chef debuted a tasting table eatery in the area at the end of last summer. Another point to note is that similar house just a few doors down closed for over $4 million just over a year ago.

DWELL: HIGH DEMAND ON STRIVERS ROW
HarlemBespoke: Strivers Row has always been a coveted address in Harlem since the Renaissance years but we have never seen this many contracts or sales at one time within the historic neighborhood. One of the most notable homes include Number 261 West 138th Street which went into contract in June based on $3.495 million. Then there were the recent August closings with Number 253 West 138th selling for $2.65 million this month and Number 258 West 139th which just closed based on a $2.1 million. Another honorable mention can be found at Number 234 West 139th Street which closed for $2.5 million early on this year.
