Harlem Bespoke: One of the most under the radar burger in the city has to be the offerings at Harlem Burger Co. on Frederick Douglass by 118th Street but everyone in the neighborhood really know that this is the spot. We went in this weekend to experience once more the classic Westside Cowgirl burger with lettuce, tomato, bacon, tempura fried onion ring, Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce and an over easy egg which has been on the menu
since they opened in 2016. As can be seen from the lower photo, this bodacious sandwich almost has a life of its own once you get it out the box and the flavors are all really on point.
The only thing that slightly changed from our past outing was that the over easy egg was cooked all the way through so if you like it a little runnier, that might be something to mention beforehand when ordering. Folks often see pictures taken of menu items in Instagram and do not get the same thing at end but this eatery at the corner of 118th Street on FDB always comes through with a spectacular presentation.
