DWELL: 381 CONVENT AVENUE SOLD IN MARCH
Harlem Bespoke: Number 381 Convent Avenue has just arrived on the market in mid August of 2021 and the single family 20-foot wide landmark townhouse going for $2.65 $2.499 million had a contract out by December and now records show that the historic home closed the deal in the beginning of March this year. Streeteasy has it offiicially confirmed that the notable address sold for exactly $2.499 million which is quite a deal for the seller since the last transaction was back in 1996 for $115K which would have made the monthly in the mid $500 range for a 30 year mortgage. As previously pointed out, this is probably the sharpest priced renovated private residence to be found within the Convent Avenue historic district. Houses just slightly further south have been selling for record numbers so this might easily be a good deal in the $2 million range. Everything appears to be in turnkey condition and the location is just a block away from the express train entrance by 147th Street. More details and photos on Streeteasy: LINK
