Harlem Bespoke: We first noticed that the empty lot at 152 West 136th Street was preparing for construction back in 2018 and was surprised to see that some decent progress had been made during the pandemic. We walked by the site just west of Lenox Avenue this month and notice a temporary facade has been put in place. Based on the rendering shown on the plywood (click photo to enlarge), a historically accurate revival is underway but what is currently out front is probably just to protect the new infrastructure within as work is being completed. As can bee seen from our original post, there was nothing at this parcel of land previously so the return of a brownstone on the block should be quite something else: LINK
