BESPOKE KIDS: STORYTIME AT THOMAS J. PRICE STATUE

Harlem Bespoke:  Another free event to check out on Juneteenth weekend is the free Saturday family storytime at the Thomas J. Price: Witness at Marcus Garvey Park, east side of the north lawn by 124th Street.  There will be giveaways and a tour about the latest piece of public art in the park.

Saturday, June 18th, 12:00PM-3:00PM, NYPL and Studio Museum presents Storytime at Marcus Garvey Park.  The Studio Museum continues the outdoor public art installation with the first U.S. museum solo show for Thomas J. Price which features a nine-foot tall bronze statue titled "The Distance Within" (2021) at Marcus Garvey Park.  The impressive figure will be up for the next year and can be viewed on any day during park hours.  More on the Studio Museum official website: LINK
