DWELL: 17 WEST 120TH STREET SOLD IN OCTOBER
Harlem Bespoke: Number 17 West 120th was listed at the end of April, had a contract out by June and now records show that the landmark home sold this month. As previously mentioned, the notable address sold back in 2018 for $3.75 million, returned to the market at $4.75 million and it looks like everything closed at $4.5 million according to Streeteasy. There are a lot of original details in the completely restored 20-foot-wide, 2-family townhouse that has one of the most thorough renovations we have seen in some time. We noted in the past that this is arguably one of the best blocks to be found uptown and Maya Angelou's house sold for $4 million back in 2016. A prime location is also a major selling point here. The Mount Morris Park Historic District home is just a short walk to Whole Foods on 125th Street and the express trains are also only 5 blocks away. More details and photos on Streeteasy: LINK
