☞ SEE: Crossing Lines at the Heath Gallery

February 4th-March 3rd, "CROSSING LINES" Exhibit Opens at Harlem's Heath Gallery, 24 West 120th Street.  Kai Heath has been following her father's art career since she was a little girl, accompanying him to art exhibitions, assisting him in set up and break down of street displays, and serving as a gallery assistant in the early days of the opening of the Heath Gallery in a family-owned townhouse in the historic Mount Morris Park district. After 8 years as an apprentice, Heath, now 20, is curating her 2nd show at the Heath Gallery.

"Crossing Lines", featuring the work of Michael Daily, Jr. and Gilbert Gandia, opens Saturday, February 4th and runs through Saturday, March 3rd. The Heath Gallery is located at 24 West 120th Street directly facing Marcus Garvey Park. The February 4th opening reception from 7-11 pm will also include live music from Streight Angular, Please Melt and PAB X MFD JR.

Michael Daily Jr. and Gilbert Gandia are both painters and multi-instrument musicians who currently reside in Lowell, Massachusetts just outside of Boston. They collaborate on both music and visual art projects. Several of the pieces in the exhibit reflect their collaboration.
