DWELL: 393 CONVENT AVENUE RETURNS TO MARKET
Number 393 Convent Avenue has returned to the market for what seems to now be a reasonable $3.5 million asking. This rare corner building at West 147th Street is at a substantial 23 x 66 foot width with an estimated 7,500 square foot of space and higher end contextual finishes. The landmark Hamilton Heights limestone townhouse has 10 bedrooms, 4 Full baths, 1 Partial bath and enough original details to make it comparable to the higher end homes in the area with contracts out for around $3 million in 2014. As far as transportation goes, the express train station for 145th Street is only a couple of blocks away and gets one to 42nd street in about 10 minutes. With that said, townhouse has been on the market since the recession hit a few years ago but now the timing is probably right for what the sellers want for the home. More on the broker site: LINK

It's listed by Luis Ortiz of Million Dollar Listing NY! I hope they show this listing on the show!
ReplyDeleteI feel like the pricing could be MUCH higher for 7,500 square feet. The carpets look awful, but that's just a few cosmetic changes.
