A neighbor a few months back was wondering what would rise on a long abandoned lot at 142 West 132nd Street and it appears a new townhouse is now being built. We did some research in the past and discovered that the building would be a 2-family situation but it was unclear if another one of those skinny bland towers would arise on the spot or not. Seeing the progress from a couple of weeks back, the facade layout fits with the classic stoop home so the end result should be pretty contextual with the block. More in our past post:

Interestingly enough the new house is set forward from the house on the left and slightly back from the one on the right. Kind of somewhere in the middle of the irregular street wall.
