DWELL: 17 EAST 128TH SOLD IN JULY
Streeteasy now has the final closing for Number 17 East 128th Street which happens to be the oldest house in continual private residential use in greater Harlem. The single-family clapboard home arrived on the market during the springtime for the asking of $3.7 million and now records reveal that the closing price was just a little under at $3.6 million. Built in 1864, this gem has all of the original details within and has been restored to its historic glory. This closing number is no longer the record for Harlem but basically matches that of actor Neil Patrick Hariss' house not too far down the block: LINK
