One shell in the Mount Morris Park Historic District over at 120 West 118th Street has finally gone into restoration mode. There has been scaffolding up at the address just west of Lenox Avenue for some time now but it was unclear if a demolition or revival was at hand since the building looked to be basically a front facade with barely a wall out back or roof over head. Permits now show that the townhouse will totally be fixed up in the near future but oddly enough the 5 unit configuration will still remain. This block also was not part of the historic district until last month when the city doubled the size of the Mount Morris Park neighborhood:
