DWELL: 17 WEST 120TH RETURNS TO MARKET

Number 17 west 120th went on the market last summer for $5 million and had been reduced to $4.4 million two months later but then the price went back up to $4.7 million by the end of year before the listing was removed in December.  It now appears that the address is back for 2017 and the latter asking price has been reinstated.

We also noted that this is arguably one of the best blocks in the Mount Morris Park Historic District and Maya Angelou's house just sold for $4 million a few doors down. There are a lot of original details in fantastic condition within the 20-foot-wide townhouse but the one issue here is that this is a multi-unit building.  Higher end buyers are usually also looking for a single-family layout but the location might be the biggest selling point here since Whole Foods should be opening nearby in the next 6 months.  More details and photos on Streeteasy: LINK
