Harlem Bespoke: The mansard roof townhouse that formerly belonged to dance legend Arthur Mitchell at 517 West 152nd Street went up on the market last September for $3.5 million, then was reduced a couple of more times this year to $2.5 million, went into contract in October and Streeteasy now reveals that the three-family sold at the end of November for $2.525 million. As previously mentioned, the interior photos show a pretty sophisticated balance between old and new which is usually hard to pull off but works in many ways within the historic home. Upgrades also include HVAC and radiant heat cork floors in some of the other rooms. As far as location goes, the area by Amsterdam Avenue is pretty residential and the nearest subway stop is about 4 blocks away on 155th Street.
