BESPOKE: UNIQUE HOLIDAY EVENT SPACE 2019
Harlem Bespoke: We often get inquiries on great rental spaces for big events or Holiday parties this time of year and there a quite a few unique locations in Harlem to consider. Some of uptown's small businesses will host for the day or evening if plans are made in advance and could be the right spot for a special occasion. The Honeywell: 3604 Broadway by 148th Street. Those looking for a posh 70s vibe might want to check out Harlem's new lounge which would look perfect on the set of Mad Men or a retro GQ spread. More details can be found on the official Facebook site: LINK
Clay: 533 Manhattan Avenue by 123rd Street. The intimate corner brownstone restaurant is one of the best new spots to eat at uptown and has a contemporary but classic aesthetic within. More details on the Facebook: LINK
Soloman & Kuff's Rum Hall, 2331 12th Avenue at 133rd Street. Harlem's newest lounge restaurant by viaduct has river views at the separate front bar which would probably make for a good spot to have a holiday party. Contact information can be found on Facebook: LINK
Bierstrasse, 2346 12th Avenue by 133rd Street. Another option under the viaduct is Bier Strasse which looks like a traditional German Bier Garden with a really cool separate upper level that has amazing views: LINK
Mess Hall, 2194 Frederick Douglass Boulevard by 118th Street. One can literally deck the halls of this lodge interior that features reclaimed rafters and hunting trophies. There is a classic full bar to serve up drinks and small bites along with a nicely appointed outdoor space: LINK
Chaiwali, 274 Lenox Avenue by 124th Street. Harlem's Indian eater in the Mount Morris Park Historic District that is still shuttered is literally in a sumptuous brownstone at the lower levels that can be rented out for private events. The first two floors are actually a restaurant which includes one of the most charming backyards to be found in the neighborhood. The overall feel is antique Indian with Harlem savoir faire: LINK
Il Caffe Latte 145th Street, 458 West 145th Street by Amsterdam Avenue. This brownstone space in Hamilton Heights has a second floor rental that has an ambiance of French cafe. The entire floor can be rented for the evening and guests will be able to experience brownstone style up in the Heights: LINK
The Grange, 1635 Amsterdam Avenue by 141st Street. Hamilton Heights' favorite restaurant was designed with rustic 19th century details which makes it the perfect spot to warm up spirits for the holidays. There is a banquet room in the back that is available for smaller private events: LINK
The Morris-Jumel Mansion on top of Sugar Hill. Manhattan oldest estate has a formal garden in the back and has been popular destination for weddings: LINK
