Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that
blue brick had been installed at a formerly vacant storefront on Frederick Douglass Boulevard earlier in the month and now official signage has been placed on the facade. Bixi is apparently proceeding quite quickly to debut just below 116th Street in the coming months and the lounge will be headed up by a familiar name. Serena Bass of
Lido appears to be branching out with this sister bar just a couple of blocks south on 8th Avenue. The local chef has a huge following at the aforementioned Italian eatery and we suspect that the bar should do pretty well as a takeout spot in the coming months.
