Harlem Bespoke: We have not checked out the progress of 512 West 143rd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway since last October and now the new building for a local non-profit has started getting glassed.
As previously mentioned, the geometric vessel shape is actually the new headquarters for Brotherhood Sister Sol which used to be in an old brownstone at this location but was torn down to make way for the larger building. Foundation work finished up during the middle of the pandemic and a finish date of early next year could possibly happen. Summer 2021 was the original completion date but delays are always common for any construction project in the city. Check out the original design sketch in our past post:
