As previously mentioned, there are garages out back that are big attraction on the historic Central Harlem block and the commercial corridors on the avenues have really started to pick up in the past few years. New York Time's favorite local restaurant is also around the corner and a celebrity chef debuted a tasting table eatery in the area at the end of last summer. Another point to note is that similar house on the block closed for over $4 million just over a year ago.

DWELL: 208 WEST 139TH STREET IN CONTRACT
HarlemBespoke: Number 208 West 139th Street went up on the market at the end of 2021 for the asking set at a modest $2.1 million and now the single-family townhouse now has a contract out according to Streeteasy. Based on interior photos, the historic home is dripping with original details and has 5 fireplaces still intact. Everything probably needs a bit of love to polish things up but the end value could double if done right.
