Harlem Bespoke: A record sale last year at Strivers Row for
$4 million appeared to be an outlier until recently. Now a gut renovated single-family home at 250 West 139th Street has a contract out based on a $4.25 million asking set in June. This 20-foot-wide landmark townhouse located between 7th and 8th Avenue has a lot of modern upgrades including an elevator which is quite unique. Historic Strivers Row also has garages out back with a private driveway so this might also be one of the major selling points. The other amenity that also stands out is that even though the garage space takes away from the backyard garden, most of the Strivers Row buildings have since constructed outdoor terrace space on top of those aforementioned added structures.
