Harlem Bespoke: Number 221 West 138th Street on Strivers Row located east of Frederick Douglass went up on the market back last November for $4.5 million, then had a price reduction to $3.995 million at the start of the new year and now has a contract out as of May.
A lot of beautiful original details have been restored inside the two-family home and the kitchen and bath updates are pretty decent but could use more historically accurate touches. With that said, what's not to like here? There is also the private driveway out back that is unique to this historic hub of Central Harlem and an attached garage with a rooftop terrace.
